How to upload your own Minecraft plugin with the PRO plan

Minecraft is full of amazing experiences and there’s a lot to explore, however, even the most adventurous players sometimes feel the need to spice things up. You can change the way your server looks by installing a Resource Pack, add certain statistics or experiences by uploading a Data pack or even modify the gameplay entirely by installing Mods. One other way to customize your server is by adding Plugins. They are additive server files used to change certain aspects of the game. In this tutorial, we will go over 2 different ways you can install a plugin on your own Minecraft server.

Uploading a Plugin via WinSCP:

1. Download the WinSCP program; (How to use WinSCP?)
2. Download the plugin you want. The file must end with a .jar extension;
3. Open the WinSCP program and enter all the necessary information (Host: your IP (real)  ex.: g01.rfox.cloud or 192.168.0.1; Username: is "Username"; Password: is "Password".);
4. When connected, open the folder titled "plugins“;
5. Upload your plugin (.jar file) to the "plugins“ folder (you can do this by dragging the plugin from the desktop to the program);
6. After the upload is done, you should either restart the server in the dashboard or use the /reload command with OP permissions.

Uploading a Plugin through our website:

1. Download the plugin you want. The file must end with a .jar extension;
2. Open the service dashboard;
3. Go to the "plugins" tab;
4. From the desktop, drag and drop the plugin to the website window;
5. After the upload is done, you should either restart the server in the dashboard or use the /reload command with OP permissions.

The second way to upload a plugin might not work with larger plugins because of the upload file size limitations.

And there you go, you have successfully installed a plugin on your Minecraft server!
